Marek Stolarski Receives the SITK RP Gold Honorary Badge with Diamond
On 11 June 2026, the House of Technology of the Polish Federation of Engineering Associations (NOT) in Warsaw hosted the celebrations marking the 80th anniversary of the Association of Engineers and Technicians of Transport of the Republic of Poland (SITK RP), one of the most important organizations bringing together engineers and technical professionals involved in the transport and communications sectors. The anniversary program included, among other events, the screening of the film “People of Our History,” speeches by representatives of government administration and industry institutions, and the presentation of awards and distinctions to individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the development of the transport sector.
The jubilee celebrations provided an opportunity to honor individuals and institutions that have rendered exceptional service to the Association and the transport industry. Among the distinctions awarded were the Ernest statuettes and the SITK RP Gold Honorary Badges with Diamond.
Among the recipients of the SITK RP Gold Honorary Badge with Diamond was Marek Stolarski, President of NEEL, who has been associated with the railway industry for many years and has played a significant role in the development of modern technologies enhancing railway traffic safety. His professional achievements and commitment to advancing Polish engineering excellence exemplify the successful combination of experience, innovation, and responsibility for the development of transport infrastructure.
The 80th anniversary of SITK RP was an occasion to highlight the role of individuals whose knowledge, work, and dedication are shaping the future of Polish transport. People such as Marek Stolarski have, for many years, contributed to the development of modern technical solutions and to strengthening the position of Polish enterprises in international markets.

It is thanks to their knowledge, passion, and perseverance that the development of science, technology, and the entire transport sector is possible,” emphasized speakers during the anniversary celebrations, whose central theme was “People of Our History.”
The anniversary celebrations concluded with a joint meeting of representatives of academia, industry, and public institutions, providing an opportunity to reflect on past achievements and discuss the future of Poland’s transport infrastructure.
