13th Conference: "Modern Technologies in the Implementation of Railway Transport Investment Projects" – Jurata 2026

The 13th Scientific and Technical Conference, "Modern Technologies in the Implementation of Railway Transport Investment Projects," took place from April 22–24, 2026, at the Rewita Holiday Center in Jurata. The event was co-organized by NEEL Sp. z o.o., the Association of Polish Electrical Engineers (SEP), and AREX Sp. z o.o. Regarded as one of the most significant gatherings for the Polish railway sector, it brought together a wide range of experts, industry representatives, and academics to focus on key challenges in developing modern transport infrastructure.

NEEL played a vital role as both a co-organizer and an active contributor to the substantive program. During plenary sessions and thematic panels, company representatives presented development directions for railway infrastructure monitoring and protection systems, emphasizing solutions based on data analysis and advanced measurement technologies.

In a thematic session dedicated to environmental protection and infrastructure safety—led by NEEL—presentations included the use of DAS (Distributed Acoustic Sensing) technology for monitoring critical infrastructure and the latest advancements in the UOZ-1 animal protection system. These solutions, developed by NEEL, address current market needs for improving rail traffic safety and mitigating the environmental impact of infrastructure.

The conference program covered a broad spectrum of topics, including: Traction power supply security, Energy storage, Cybersecurity, The use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in infrastructure diagnostics. Speeches from representatives of key institutions—including infrastructure managers, supervisory bodies, and scientific units—highlighted the importance of collaboration between the industrial and research sectors in developing modern railway technologies.

The substantive sessions were complemented by thematic workshops and industry meetings, facilitating the exchange of experience and the presentation of practical implementations. The conference also served as a networking platform, featuring a social gathering and a gala dinner.

This year’s edition confirmed the growing importance of innovation in the railway sector and solidified NEEL’s position as an active participant and co-creator of these changes. The company’s involvement and the solutions presented constitute a significant contribution to the development of safe, modern, and resilient railway infrastructure.
