Conference in Jurata 2019

We are pleased to inform you that on 24-26. April 2019 in Jurata was held the next edition of scientific and technical conference “Modern technologies in the implementation of investment projects in railway transport” organized by AREX and NEEL companies.

This year it was the tenth conference from the series, organized jointly by the companies NEEL from Warsaw and  AREX from Gdynia.

This conference is one of the largest railway conferences in Poland with the participation funded by the organizers. We have obtained the honorary patronage of the Minister of Infrastructure, the Rector of the Gdańsk University of Technology, the Director of the Railway Institute, the President of the Railway Transport Office and the Dean of the Forestry Faculty of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences (SGGW). The media patronage over the conference included railway trade magazines “TTS” [Rail Transport Technique] and “Kurier Kolejowy” [Railway Courier]. This year's conference was a jubilee event: it was held for the tenth time and was accompanied by the 30th anniversary of the AREX company.

About 200 participants representing consulting, design, scientific and research companies, PKP companies, carriers, the Railway Transport Office and the Ministry of Infrastructure participated in the conference. During the conference 33 presentations were held divided into four thematic blocks (main block, automatic of railway traffic control, power engineering and electric traction, infrastructure, safety and environmental protection).

Main bjectives of the conference were:

• Presentation of the latest issues on the implementation of modernization investment on PKP
• Presentation of the latest solutions applied in the management of railway infrastructure equipment
• Environment protection issues in the implementation of investment projects of rail transport
• Presentation of the issues of railway transport safety
• Introduction of environment friendly solutions and technologies in railway automation systems
• Exchange of experience in the design and implementation of the latest developments in the field of railway energetics, electric traction, diagnostics, infrastructure and automation of railway traffic control.

The benefits of participation in the conference are the possibility of presentation of their offer for the polish railway directly to all the participants of the investment process, from the designers, through building companies to the end user i.e. Polish Railway Lines. And in the backstage it allows direct face-to-face meetings with representatives of companies and institutions of the railway sector, which allows optimization of time and effort needed to effectively promote one’s products and technologies, and our knowledge of the Polish railway market will made it easier to organize such meetings.
