It's been 20 years!

On May 17, 2013 in the Agnieszka Osiecka Music Studio of the Polish Radio in Warsaw took place a celebration of 20th anniversary of the NEEL company.

About 150 guests were invited, including representatives of the Polish State Railways, institutions cooperating with the company, partners, and of course the entire crew of the company.

After welcoming guests President Marek Stolarski summed up in a few words the story of Neel – let us recall:

The company was founded in May 1993 by several former employees of the Railway Scientific & Technical Centre (currently the Railway Institute). Initially, it's activity included only rail automation devices, but gradually it expanded. It started production of control devices for greenhouses and waste-water plants – based on microprocessor controllers meeting the stringent safety requirements of railway. Since 1998, the company has audio division – “a child” of the audiophile interests of the President Stolarski – which produces power supply devices for audio equipment. In 2003 NEEL began the adventure with nature conservation on railway lines, it was the birth of Animal Deterring Devices (UOZ-1), the flagship product of the company, which was awarded the Ernest Malinowski Prise for Infrastructure during the International Railway Fair TRAKO 2009. These devices gain interest not only in Poland but also in the world, which resulted in the first contract abroad – in 2012 UOZ-1 were mounted on the Russian Railways.

After these memories the president gave personal thanks to those who have contributed significantly to the development of the company and thanks to the representatives of the most important companies and institutions from the NEEL point of view.

Although NEEL qualifies as a small business, it holds an important place in the domestic rail market – a measure of this success were congratulations of achievements expressed by representatives of leading railway companies and organisations.

The event was graced by a recital of songs in an interpretation by Adrianna Biedrzyńska. The surprise of the artistic part was a short piano concert performed by the President of the company, Marek Stolarski.
